the good ol days
It's been one of those weeks where I really wish I didn't have to into work. Not that I'm hating it or anything, I love my job. But sometimes, you just wanna spend those long work hours doing something else...like sleeping in =p Or just chillin and relaxing, and just saying, "ahhhhhhh". I was thinking last night how it kinda sucks that we all work now because we can't just say I'm gonna stay in, like back in college. I mean, we can call in sick, but that comes with some repurcussions, such as there is only a limited amount of sick time one can get, and we usually want to save it for something big...like when we're REALLY sick. But back in school, it was like, eh, I'm not going to class...you didn't have to report to anyone, you just did it. Man, what I wouldn't do for a week of being able to do that...
toe-may-toe, toe-mah-toe
I tend to use that alot...oh well... People are so unique...I was outside in the courtyard taking a break and I just kinda observed the people who all go out their to smoke. I talked to the president of the company when he came out, said good morning, and he literally just took like 3 hits of his cigarette, extinguished it and went back in.. "Wow some people need that fix so bad they'll go out just to get in a few hits." Gil was outside, working on something while he was smoking. "That's pretty productive, it's not really taking a break, cuz he's still working." Some guy I don't know was out there, taking like super deep draws from his cigarette and was done in like 5 minutes, "What a fast smoker, he literally breathed that cig." Kintetsu(I only know her by her last name cuz that's what's on her cube tag), cam out after that and she smokes pretty fast too. And then there's me, just chillin out there, taking a hit, watching the smoke as it rises out from my mouth, occasionally blowing smoke rings, and just...chillin. Just funny how many types of smokers there are out there....but I AM thinking I'm gonna try my hand at quitting again...I'm just waiting for that catalyst to start the whole thing goin again. Last time it was Lent, this time...we'll just have to wait and see, I guess.
